3: DIGITAL AUDIO WORKSTATION APPLICATIONS:
Utilizing
Digital Performer as a host MIDI/Direct to Disk program,
students work with talent incorporating MIDI with computer
audio, software synthesizers, samplers, mono and two track
editors, finalizing the recording with CD burning software.

4: ADVANCED AUDIO RECORDING WORKSHOP:
"Hands
on" practice of all techniques and software programs
are utilized in a variety of session experiences. Each
student has a series of multitrack sessions to mix ad
master to produce a final compact disk resume. 36 Clock

The prerequisite for this program is the completion of
the Audio Recording Comprehensive Program. Any professional
audio engineer will agree that there is no end to the
learning process in this industry. The program focuses
primarily on the "practical application" hands
on the equipment. This will give each an opportunity to
experiment with recording techniques and interact with
musicians, not at the expense of the paying client, in
preparation of real world audio experiences.

GRADUATION!
Upon satisfactory completion of
all four levels, each student will receive a Certificate
of Graduation.
Unity
Gain Recording Institute offers each graduate the opportunity
to utilize the studio to gain experience and build a resume
that increases the chances of employment in this competitive

LEVEL
1: INTRODUCTION TO CRITICAL LISTENING:
Each student receives a "critical listening"
CD for ear development. Coincident microphone practice,
equalizer technique and signal controller/processor applications
are refined. The class participates in a twelve hour recording
session utilizing the latest direct to disk technologies.
